Stephanie Howard, Executive Director

Stephanie Howard is the founder and Executive Director of Triumphant Warrior. After surviving Non-Hodgkins Diffused B-cell Lymphoma with the help of fun socks that helped lift her up and build lasting friendships, Stephanie wanted to pay that joy forward to others.

Before founding Triumphant Warrior, Stephanie spent decades building a career in marketing strategy and client relationship management, serving as Account Director and Director of Marketing Operations at nFusion, an Austin marketing firm. Her background in team leadership, resource management and operational processes was the perfect training for her job of rallying a growing nonprofit. When she’s not sharing socks with the world, Stephanie can often be found cheering at her kids’ swim team meets, cooking up a storm in the kitchen, fishing with her main squeeze and chasing her dogs.

Matt Sartor

Matt's career began in a small non-profit organization in San Antonio. Since that time, he has worked directly for or with several non-profits, dedicated primarily to mentoring and building community. In addition to those experiences, Matt now has over a decade of experience building world-class client teams across Digital Agencies, eCommerce and SaaS organizations.

Through it all, Matt has worked to establish healthy and thriving teams, where people come to give their best because they can trust everyone else to do the same. He believes success is something best pursued with others, and has seen the greatest victories happen when disparate groups come together to tackle the challenges that come from building something incredible. In short, Matt loves making things better. He is particularly grateful for the many others that have worked tirelessly to make him better, especially his amazing wife and each one of their five children.

Julia Roadman

A Masters in Business Administration from University of Texas and ten years of working for start-up marketing companies in Austin provided Julia with work experience that encompassed not only marketing and advertising, but also client management, finance and operations. Her responsibilities included establishing strategies, managing budgets and leading diverse teams to achieve clients’ wide-ranging objectives.

Julia thrives on taking big picture ideas and turning them into manageable, concrete tasks and timelines. After leaving full-time employment to raise her two daughters, she currently heads up finance and operations for her husband’s Austin-based law firm. She is not-so-secretly in love with Excel and gets a thrill from checking off items on her to-do list. Just ask her family, friends and tennis and soccer teammates.
